Carien de Klerk

I completed my MA in Counselling Psychology at the University of the Free State in 1998. After working in the Eastern Free State for a year, my husband and I moved to Canada, where I worked at a community mental health clinic. Since 2004 we have been living in Somerset West, where I was a housewife and mother to our three boys for a couple of years.

I have always had a heart for community work, and when my youngest  child started primary school, I approached Elzabe for a part-time volunteering opportunity at Good Hope Psychological Service. I later joined the staff in 2012 and I feel extremely privileged to be part of this organization.
