About

Good Hope Psychological Service (GHPS)

We are passionate about contributing to the healing and well-being of our fellow South Africans. In a country where many have suffered trauma and psychological hardship, and do not have equal access to support, GHPS offers accessible and donation-based mental health support.

Our Working Strategy
1.

Referrals

We receive referrals from various sources, as well as self-referrals.

2.

Our Waiting List

Referrals are placed on the waiting list in the order that they are received.

3.

Scheduling Appointment

Once a mental health practitioner is available, we will contact you in order to schedule your first appointment at our offices in Stellenbosch or Paarl.

4.

Counselling Sessions

After a screening/intake consultation, you will attend either weekly individual counselling sessions, goup sessions, or be referred to more appropriate service providers.
